In order for a church, synagogue, meeting house, or other house of worship to be listed on Williamsburg Faith it needs to meet the following criteria:

1. The congregation it serves must meet at a scheduled time at least once a year.

2. The body it represents must be recognized within the Commonwealth of Virginia as a legitimate religious organization.

3. It must be sponsored by a non-profit organization which satisfies the Commonwealth of Virginia's criteria for this status.
